Flutes & Rattle

Flutes of all kinds exist in the traditional music of many cultures around the world. Pictured above are 4 Native American flutes from the USA and 1 suling from Indonesia. On the top is a six-hole Native American wooden flute in C by Jeffrey Ellis. Second from the top is a pentatonic flute in D made from river cane by Navajo flute maker Paul Thompson. The third and fourth flutes (from the top) are Native American and made from cedar by Mike Gulino. The last flute is a bamboo suling from Indonesia. The rattle is Native American and made from animal horn.
