Dumbeck

Goblet shaped hand drum played all over the Middle East. Made from clay, metal, or wood with a plastic, fish, or goat skin head. Various names exist in different countries for similar drums as this. In Persia, it is made from wood and known as zarb or tonbak. In Egypt, clay drums like this are sometimes called tablah. In Turkey, metal drums like this are known as darabuca. Dumbeg may also be used. This one made by Mid-East Mfg.
